HRDesk — HR and payroll app for multi-tenant employers

Employee self-service on Android and iOS — attendance, leave, claims, overtime, and payslips, for a product sold to many employers at once.

The problem

HRDesk sells HR software to employers who each run their own system. One app had to serve all of them, adapting to whichever company the employee works for. And attendance — the feature the whole product is judged on — had to be something HR could actually trust.

What I built

A single app that every HRDesk employer can hand to their staff, covering the whole working month:

Clock in and out from your phone, with a face check and location so HR knows the record is real.
Leave, overtime, claims and reimbursements — requested, approved, and tracked in one place instead of over chat and paper forms.
Payslips and tax documents, downloadable the moment they’re released.
Company news and push notifications, so announcements reach people where they already look.
Bahasa Indonesia and English, switchable per person.

Built for the phones people really carry, not just new ones — light on data, and quick on a cheap Android handset.

How it turned out

Live in production and still growing: the app is on its second major version, with over a hundred releases shipped since launch. Employers onboard onto it without a custom build, and I lead the mobile side, setting the patterns the rest of the team builds on.
